What is the duration of substance abuse treatment?
People progress through substance abuse treatment at different rates of time, so there is no predetermined length for treatment. However, studies have proven that successful sobriety is inversely connected to the length of rehabilitatio

Generally speaking, participation in residential or outpatient treatment for under three months is limited in its effectiveness. Treatment lasting a minimum of thirty days is highly recommended for maintaining positive results.
The cost of our luxury program is all-inclusive, with the “exception” of the following items:
- Detoxification
- Transportation, Flight
- Health spa remedies (facial, pedicure, manicure, etc.)
- Chiropractic care
- Intravenous Minerals and Vitamins
- Specific types of medications
- Assessments of Amino Acid and Essential Fatty Acid levels
Detoxification is needed before arrival. We are able to refer you to a detox facility in Kelowna prior to your treatment. Detoxification can last from three to seven days. You will get a personal room if your are offered one upon booking. The cost of detoxification ranges between $1500 and $2700 plus tax, based on the length of time you remain in the facility. This cost includes your transportation from the airport terminal and daily visits from our staff. Your one month program at Valiant Recovery will start after detoxification.
Many comparable luxury facilities and treatment programs, such as the ones in Malibu, California, charge between $35,000 and $70,000 for any one month treatment plan. Presently, with “Canadian” prices, our program costs as much as 75-percent less than other luxury programs.
At Valiant Recovery, we offer 30, 42, 60 and 90-day programs. Costs vary depending on the needs of the individual and will be finalized during the initial intake assessment. Rooms are double occupancy with double size beds, each with a private en-suite bathroom.
